A day in the strawberry patch

A day planting strawberries equals: a dirty body, aching back, sore muscles, a jump in Clam Lake, consuming lots of water, a trip to town for ice cream, music playing over the radio, a rest in the shade, laughter with fellow strawberry planters, day dreaming, surprise when I got home and a sound nights sleep!

The new berry patch and apple blossoms
Six workers makes for lighter work
God's blessing on the new plants
Planting on plastic for weed control
new plants soaked and ready to be planted

Many hands make light work!
all in a days work
Barefoot planting... I love the feel of the soil between my toes
