I have a passionate, dreamer heart. I love Jesus and this love has taken me places I never imagined I would go or see, to do things I never thought I would do. My motto in life is "whenever, wherever, whatever, Lord" and he has truly taken me at my word.
I grew up a shy country girl on a dirt road with 3 older brothers. I was always trying to keep up with them and prove to them that I could keep up, be as fun & cool as they were. I love animals and always had a mixture of different kinds growing up. I have always had a love for traveling and a special place in my heart for Africa.
I traveled the first time to Africa when I was 19 years old and after some rambling and doing some growing up I moved to S. Sudan in 2008. While living in the bush God called me into full time ministry in Africa. I prayed about what that might look like and He answered my prayers by calling me to become a midwife ( click here to read the story; The mighty hand and plans of God ).
In August 2013 I became a Certified Professional Midwife after completing two years of training in the Philippines. I am now looking for additional partners to join with me so I can head to S. Sudan in April of this year. Will you consider joining with me in the work God is doing in S. Sudan?
